Inner West Drum Fest brings together Sydney’s most talented drummers and boutique drum makers for a day of inspiration, community, and serious groove. From seasoned, old‑school players to first‑time kit‑sitters, the festival welcomes drummers of all levels who share a passion for rhythm.
2026 performers include Pete Drummond, Lozz Benson, Adrian Griffin, Abby Constable and the Sydney Con Drum Ensemble, as well as the winner of this years' John Pochee Momentum Award.
Featured stalls from Evetts Drums, Kentville Drums, Pug Cymbals, Hyde & Clay and Pansini Percussion will showcase handcrafted instruments, unique gear, and expert local craftsmanship.
IWDF isn't just about performances: you get the context to learn how they approach their craft, how they interact in real musical situations, and how they craft parts and solos. You'll leave with ideas you can apply straight to your own playing.
