Evetts Drums is a small boutique drum company based in Sydney, Australia, founded by drum builder Steve Crawley in 2008. Known for handcrafted shells made from Australian hardwoods like Jarrah, Spotted Gum, and Blackwood, Evetts has built a reputation for drums with huge tone, character, and attention to detail.
Every shell is made in-house using Evetts’ unique cold-pressed construction methods, resulting in drums that are incredibly round, resonant, and built to last. Rather than mass-producing instruments, Evetts focuses on small batches of distinctive, one-of-a-kind drums that celebrate both craftsmanship and the natural beauty of timber.
From subtle satin finishes to wild exotic veneers, no two drums are ever exactly the same, and that’s exactly the point.
Pansini Percussion: Crafted by a Drummer, Built by a Craftsman.

Kentville Drums was founded in 2011 by Steele Turkington with the aim of providing the Australian drumming community with a dedicated repair and restoration service. Kentville is devoted to detail and quality, whether working for a studio or a symphony orchestra, The Rolling Stones or the local primary school.
Beyond restoration services, Kentville Drums are dedicated to upholding the great traditions of rawhide drumhead lapping in continuing to produce Kangaroo Hide Drumheads, which are today being played by drummers and percussionists in a wide array of genres around the world. Every drumhead is made entirely by hand, in Petersham, in the heart of Sydney’s inner west.
Hyde & Clay: Egyptian born percussionist Tarek Sawires migrated to Australia in 1983. He pursued his musical career while majoring in ceramics and sculpture at Sydney College of the Arts. During this time at the college, he explored the idea of drums and sound and combined the art of playing music with hide and clay to create unique instruments and sounds. Each drum is individually made, each having its own tone achieved simply by changing the shape and by using different types of skin. Tarek’s pottery is beautifully crafted with an earthy and raw finish. When not at the wheel Tarek performs at festivals, community and social events and runs drumming workshops and Egyptian tabla courses..
